This illustration was part of a larger project of creating a book using original photography and designed typography. This image is the cover page of that book, titled "Onward."

 

The images used throughout the project were my own, using fake fall leaves to really pull out the rich colors of fall. My favorite aspect of this illustration is the innventive use of typography. HInting at the leaves behind the white bar is a simple yet strong design choice.
